Prof. Amir Hamzah is a Consultant Clinical Immunologist/Allergist and Paediatrician at the Allergy & Immunology Centre, Pantai Hospital Kuala Lumpur, and Adjunct Professor at the Sunway Centre for Planetary Health, Sunway University. He is a Fellow of the American College of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology (ACAAI) and the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology (AAAAI). He has special interest in planetary health, inborn errors of immunity (IEI) and chronic urticaria. He is actively involved in supporting patients with IEI (primary immunodeficiencies) and is the Chairman of the Medical Advisory Panel for the Malaysian Patient Organisation for Immunodeficiencies (MyPOPI).
