Prof. Jiu-Yao Wang is the Chair Professor and Superintendent of China Medical University Children’s Hospital, and Director of Allergy, Immunology, and Microbiome (A.I.M.) Research Center, China Medical University, Taichung, Taiwan. Formerly he served as Distinguished Professor of Pediatrics, and Director of the Allergy and Clinical Immunology Research (ACIR) center at National Cheng Kung University Medical Center, Tainan, Taiwan. He graduated from Department of Medicine, China Medical University, Taichung, Taiwan, in 1984, and obtained Doctor of Philosophy (D.Phil.) degree in the MRC Immunochemistry Unit, University of Oxford, United Kingdoms in 1996. Dr Wang’s lab has focused on the genetic, environmental, and immunological studies of innate immunity of allergic and asthmatic children in Taiwan for more than 38 years. These studies have produced more than 190 SCI papers and cited more than 7,500 times.
