Prof. Mimi Tang is an Internationally recognised Immunologist Allergist with a specific interest in food oral immunotherapy. She is Director of the Allergy Translation Centre and leads the Allergy Immunology Research Group at Murdoch Children’s Research Institute. She is also a Professorial Fellow at University of Melbourne, Department of Pediatrics, and a Consultant Immunologist Allergist at Melbourne’s Royal Children’s Hospital. Her research investigates immune mechanisms underlying allergic disease pathogenesis, with a focus on developing innovative treatments that induce remission of food allergy. Her overarching goal is to deliver optimal treatment options to children and families living with food allergy.
