MD, PhD
Prof. Hide was born in Hiroshima, graduated and obtained MD, Ph.D degrees from Hiroshima University in 1988. He worked as a pos-doc in the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, USA and in St Thomas’s Hospital in London, UK for research of mast cells and IgG autoantibody against FcRI in chronic spontaneous urticaria. He worked as a dermatologist in Onomichi general hospital, and in Hiroshima University being appointed as chairman professor from 2001 to 2021. He is currently working as a director of Hiroshima City Hiroshima Citizens Hospital and continues clinic and research of atopic dermatitis, urticaria and angioedema.
